Lohaghat is beautiful town which is located on the bank of river Lowahati. This region is famous for its historical and mythological interest. Abbott hill of Lohaghat is also famous for the spine-chilling place or bungalow called Abbey. In this bungalow folks of the town have seen some dark activities. Like any other establishment by Britishers the bungalow stood amidst trees and looks peaceful, but as the dark sweeps inn the place is hunted by the evil spirits.
Owner of the bungalow left and Abbey was converted into a charitable hospital. Later a doctor joined the hospital where in “Mukti Kothri” he did dreadful experiments on the folks of the village. So far it is said that the spirits of patients still haunts the place and is cursed. Making Abbey as one of the most haunted place in India.
