Meetha Ritha Saheeb
Situated near Deyuri village this is the important pilgrim center for Sikhs. This Gurudwara is situated in the sangam of Lodhiya and Ratiya rivers. Gurudwara host various trees of Reetha (Soapnut) which is also a major attraction of the place. It also has a tale which says ” Guru Nanak Dev once visited the place and held into the spiritual conversation with the Gorakh Panthi Yogis. Also Guru touched the tree which turned half of the tree sweet. That is one half of the tree produces sweet reetha. Also reetha is served as the prashad to various pilgrims visiting the Gurudwara.
It is the beautiful lake located at and impressive altitude of 1500 mts above sea level. On the foot of the lake there resides a Swami Vivekananda Ashram. The Ashram does great activities for child welfare and also its known as the medical center, to help in curing the ailments of village folks. Also the place is famous for the Jhula Fair which is the most popular mela of Kumaon region.
Patal Rudreshwar is the cave where it is believed that Lord Shiva meditated here and attained Salvation. After him many rishis or yogis meditated here in search of nirvana. The cave was unearthed in 1993, when Goddess Durga came into the dream of the local boy (a villager) and unfold the location of the cave. Many devotees were tempted to visit the cave as it offered spiritual euphoria. The cave is located near Barsi village in Champawat.
Situated near lake district of Kumaon, Nainital the town is at the 107 km from Lohaghat. Mukteshwar is the small town of Kumaon which got its name from the famous temple called “Mukteshwar”. The temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The temple is situated in the top of the hill which also offers the panoramic view of the Himalayan range. The town is yet unspoiled and offers the lush green forest. If you are a kind of birdwatcher the place is for you.
There are only two Sun Temple first is Konark Sun Temple and the second is Katarmal Sun Temple. Also Katarmal is the only Sun Temple of North India. It is situated about 25 km from Ranikhet. One can see the beautiful vistas on the way to temple, the place is ideal for photography.

The town and the lake are named after Bhima, one of the Pandavas of the epic story of Mahabharata who is said to have visited the place. On the banks of the dam you can find the Shivji Temple called as Bhimeshwar Temple which is said to be built in the early 1880’s with strong devotees to this temple.
One of the most popular town, which receives most of the tourist in peak season is the lake district of Kumaon, Nainital. It is located at a distance of just 104km from Lohaghat.
